I didn\'t work on anything huge this year, unlike the 2006 and 2007 Tributes for the September 11th, 2001 Victims.
This year I decided to put together a photomanipulation, with a vertical panorama and dual-color toning. Red, White, and Blue.
These shots were taken at New Dock St. in Brooklyn NY on 9/11/08. Eight years after the tragedy that struck our nation, and perhaps the world with mixed emotions ranging from awe to intense malice.
We will never forget those whose lives were taken by the hands of terrorists, and all the innocent people who did not deserve to die on that day.

1. Will there be another digital tribute next year? -Definitely. I\'ve been working on something which is currently spanning about 150hrs of work, which is STILL not finished and ready for release. This will be worked on and will become the 2009 Tribute.
Thanks for looking, fav\'s and comments are appreciated.
Beautiful photo. I come from Italy and I was only 6 years old when it happened. Although I was very young I still realized that something very serious happened! Every year I watch the documentary on the towers, and in those moments I feel close to America! That the victims of this attack rest in peace!
I was pretty young too at the time, maybe around 11, it was really sad..
I almost lost my mother in the towers that day too, so it was a bit of a shock at the age. I'm glad that you're keeping up with remembering, that's a very respectable thing!
lol it's alright, she actually made it out just in time. She was on her way to a meeting in the towers when they got hit, so she was safe by about 15 minutes. Still a close call though.

I'm sorry about your mother!
Next year I'll pray a lot for her!
Well, I'm happy for you! 8D
